Introduction
Solitaire is one of the most popular card games in the world. It is a rather difficult game that is not always possible to finish. The frequency of the game's success depends entirely on the cards you receive.
Positioning cards
The game distributes seven columns of cards and only the last card in each column is visible. The remaining 24 cards are stacked next to the columns. This stack of undistributed cards is called the stub. Above the distributed cards, we always see 4 empty piles (stack piles).
Goal of the game
The goal of the Solitaire is to make four stacks of cards. Each stack must have a different color. In addition, cards must be deposited in the order of ace to the king (A-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-V-D-R). You do this by filling in the four empty stacks.
Move cards
You can move maps of columns and stacks according to the following rules:
You can put a map on a visible map if the map you are moving away is of another color and immediately lower. For example: you can put a red 7 (heart or tile) on an 8 of clover (visible map of a column). You can then put a black 6 on the 7, and so on.
You can move a map or set of maps from one column to another (provided you maintain a proper sequence of succession).
The maps of the columns you discover are returned.
When a column is empty, you can place a king (or a group of cards with a king at the top) to start a new column.
Finally the goal of the game Solitaire is to deposit all the cards on the four piles. Each pile of cards starts with an ace. Other cards released can be deposited on aces to form a stack of the same color. For example, after placing the ace of spades on an empty stack, you can put the spades on the ace of spades, then the spade on the two, etc., until the stack is complete.
A card placed on the pile (stack stack) can be eventually replaced in the columns.
How to use the remaining stack of cards (heel)?
When it is impossible to place cards in the columns, you turn to the remaining cards (heel). We are interested here in a game that deals 3 cards, as in the original Solitaire game. You can also play with 1 card, see the game variations section.
In the case of a distribution with 3 cards, the 3 cards are placed on each other next to the heel. The third card (top) can be moved. The other two cards are not usable, but you can memorize them. The top card of the heel can be used for columns or stacks. After moving the top map, you will discover a new map, etc.
If you can not use the discovery card, you can return three new cards. This operation is unlimited. When you have had all the cards in the stub, you simply flip the cards to start over from the beginning. Warning ! The cards are not remixed.
Win at Solitaire
The game continues until the 4 batteries are full or it is no longer possible to move the card. You won when you have completed the four piles.
Variations of game
A card returned to the heel:
Instead of returning each time three cards, this variant makes you discover the heel card to card. The probability of finishing the game is then higher.
Limit of the heel cards:
In this variant, the distribution of the cards of the heel is limited, generally to three times.
Time limit:
Some online Solitaire games must be resolved within a set time, usually 5 minutes.
